Our artists have now completed their previous engagements and have begun work on the remaining pages for First Men on Mars #1. We shall share these pages with you as and when they are completed.

Hello and welcome to this, our latest update for First Men on Mars #1...
...Or what is, in actuality, a preview for issue #2! Whilst our artists are currently drawing their pages for issue #1, Ian Richardson has also finished the inks for what should have been our stretch goal wraparound cover. However, as the cover wasn't unlocked, we are now going to use it for issue #2. And can you blame us? After all why would we let this go to waste:
Is that not a thing of beauty...?
...And if you think it looks good now, wait until it's blessed with Yel Zamor's lavished with colours!
Of Surveys and Thumbnails

Hello and welcome to our latest update.
By now a small number of you will have received your surveys for First Men on Mars #1. You lucky few have been selected by Backerkit as a test audience to ensure the survey and its settings are sound. It's been a valuable exercise, as it has identified what could be termed a 'rookie error' by Paul when setting up the survey. The issue has been rectified and Paul has been flogged. On Ebay. For a fiver. Including shipping.
In other news, our artists have already begun pencilling issue #1 of First Men on Mars. We'll be sharing their progress as they go through the various stages of their comicbook alchemy. Today we have these thumbnails from Mike Collins:

First Men on Mars: Lost Treasures and Other Gems Now Available for Pre-Order

So, it's almost 32 hours since the Kickstarter for First Men on Mars #1 ended and I haven't pestered you in a while. But fear not, for I have returned with more FMoM-related news...
...And the news is good. We had such a strong end to funding yesterday that we reached the £8,000 mark. In doing so this gem was unlocked:
Weighing in at 48-pages, First Men on Mars: Lost Treasures contains a cornucopia of concept art, masses of unused material and oodles of other objet d'art. Backers can add it to their pledges when the pledge manager opens for business within the next few days. A print of this amazing cover has now also been added to the Martian Treasury pledge, which now includes all of these goodies:
All that for only £100? Bargain!
The Martian Treasury pledge will be available once again once Backerkit approves and opens our late pledge portal. In the interim, selected items from the Kickstarter for First Men on Mars #1 are now available for pre-order via Backerkit.

The pledge manager survey for First Men on Mars #1 has now been submitted to Backerkit and we are waiting for it to ab approved. Once it passes muster, we expect to send the surveys on 1st June.
